What do you feel when u step into a HOSPITAL??

HOSPITAL.. sounds like a big word. a serious place. Most of the people especially chinese doesn't like to go to hospital because they feel HOSPITAL is "dirty". The word dirty = spirits. With these mind set, Chinese generally doens't like to go to hospital.
But, I do realize that it's different as compared to the Malays. Their family bonding is so strong until they bring the whole family to the hospital when they come to visit someone. I will always use the discription.. "picnic". Since i was in medical student, I saw lots of crowds in hospital especially during weekends. Most of them were Malays and most of them are sitting all around the corner of the hospital and enjoying the food which they brought together when they come to visit their family members. May be this is what we need in the society in order to build a loving society.
When you come to hospital, everyone came with a different kinds of feelings at all the time. Some of the patient will feels.. "haih.. need to come to hospital again." But some might feels.. "yeah.. i am coming to hospital again.. and i so happy to see those doctors again.."
For a visitor.. they might have different feeling in different visits. In the first 2 visits, they feel anxious about they friends/family members condition. After few visits, they start feeling bored in hospital and start asking to be discharged.
But for a doctor, I think we don't have much feeling.
The first moment when i step into Klang hospital when i enter clinical year, I was told that Klang hospital had been described as Pearl Harbour Hospital because of overloading of patients. Then, I felt anxious about what going to happen in the next few years when i started working as a doctor. Slowly, hospital had become my home. The place where i stay had become the second home as I spent more time in hospital rather than at home. Now, Stepping into hospital in any part of the country will just mean nothing. It is yet still a home for people like us...
